Do you have cross functional & diverse teams?

We all have our personal areas of expertise and passion but to gain the optimal launch results we need to meld these together to form cross functional and diverse teams.  

A team that is uniform with similar personality types is a hazard to launch as there will be less productive conflict and challenging of ideas. New members of a team must fit the culture and values of the team but should be sought out for their differences that will complement the team.

They should interact in a matrix like the skydiving image where challenge, teamwork, trust and communication allow decision making to progress rapidly. A fully functioning Agile team does not rely on the brand owner to call meetings to make every decision but constantly interacts with their fellow members to maintain action and forward momentum.
